My first encounter with affiliate program is ClickBank. It was my first attempt to make money online. I was trying to find a business which does not involve physical products that needs to cover shipping and handling products. Obviously selling digital information products via ClickBank is the best way. As I was lack of information or knowledge to produce my own ebook or digital information product, participate in the affiliate program by selling other peoples’ product is the way to go. There are a lot of websites that offers affiliate programs and many products uses the system of affiliate program to generate sales. In this post I will be using ClickBank and ebooks as examples to further elaborate my topic.
Basically making money online via affiliate program is simple. We just have to find a product to sell from an affiliate program website. Affiliates will be paid a certain percentage of revenue each time the products are sold. We have to use the links provided so that sales generated can be track down and we get paid. In other words, sales that generated through the links we posted will make us money. The percentage or amount of payments is different depending on the revenue shared by the affiliate product. Some of the percentage of affiliate products earned can be as high as 50%. Sign up as an affiliate is FREE and there are tons of affiliate programs available online. The biggest problem affiliate needs to solve is how to convinced readers or visitors to purchase the affiliate products. In other words, we have to find a way to convert traffic into sales.
